The festive market at George Square and Argyle Street is worth a wee visit, it makes a change from all of the large stores and lets you get into the Christmas spirit. They have mulled wine and sausages... its worth it just for that... lol
The Festive market at George square reminds me of a market in Germany that we visited on travels around Europe this year on the train, I cant remember what city we were in at the time (may have been Frankfurt).
Let us know what you think of the festive market! would you recommend it to a friend?

Went to the festive market today at gearge square in Glasgow, it was a day to be well rapped up as the weather was pretty poor.
It was nice to strole down to the market after a walk through the Merchant City and a bit of grub in the Merchant Square (spicy meetballs in the square bar... nice, but could have done with a wee plate of chips too)
The Fetsive market at george square has the cool ice rink (which looked great fun, but I cant skate)... I tried to fill my need for a wee poke of chips (dugs lips) but was disapointed with the tiny wee box for £2.00 of manky blakened chips... they ended up in the bin because they were so bad... absolute rank.
I wish I had a bratvurst sausage (I cant spell)... instead of the minging chips that the not so cheery lass (not the springyest chick in the coop) shuved in my face.
appart from the chips issue it was a nice day...
