Glasgow - Ashton Lane - Ubiquitous Chip
We like to go up to the West End of Glasgow, up Byres Road and Ashton Lane. We went to Ubiquitous Chip in Ashton Lane, both the food and the service were great. I like a good restaurant and I really enjoyed my meal in the Ubiquitous Chip. We started with the mussels and I had a nice full bodied red wind, when we normally go out for food I generally end up having the best meal out of the both of us, she normally makes a ‘gastronome’ error.
For main course I had (I can’t quite remember)...
I could not stuff anymore food down my throat so I did not opt for anything from the desert menu, I think she chose the hot chocolate and she loved it as far as I remember (I may have made this up in my mind, I am not quite sure).
Glasgow has some great restaurants to offer and I have frequented many of them over the years, but the Ubiquitous Chip on this occasion was great and one of the best meals that I have had in ages.
